2016 Exhibit Recap

The year of 2016 was a very exciting year for us here at DE! Not only did graphic design work and services increase with many former clients and new clientele, we also branched out into the painting world of art. Our first ever art gallery exhibit feature was in Charleston, South Carolina in November, and our second one was in Baltimore, Maryland in December.

Our first exhibit feature was with SC Community Loan Fund’s Thought Leader Speaker Series and Art Reception featuring speaker and former Mayor of Charleston, SC Joseph P. Riley, Jr. The exhibit and reception took place at the Charleston Music Hall in Charleston, SC on Tuesday, November 21, 2016  in which we created many different art pieces all sized at 4×6 inches. Two are shown below, ‘Dr. King’ and ‘Motherland’. Together from all artists, over $10,000 was raised in support to advance equitable access to capital in South Carolina. We do have one last piece available for purchase from the event last year, if you would like to purchase, please follow this link:

Our second exhibit feature was with The Sand Art Gallery opening art reception, AmeriKKKa held Friday, December 16, 2016 in Baltimore, Maryland in which we exhibited our three art pieces ‘Insecure’, ‘AmeriKKKa’, and ‘Inprisonment’ all ranging from sizes 11×14 inches and 12×12 inches. This was a very exciting event in the heart of Baltimore, Maryland as it was their very first opening to the public. Many different artists took part in the event from all over the United States, as many different events took place during the grand opening weekend from music series and performances to painting classes. They even have their very own arcade for the kids. Very nice establishment and we recommend any artists visiting the DMV area to stop by and check them out.

2016 ended for us on a great note as we made some very good connections with other artists and art gallery owners. We have a lot of events lined up for 2017 and will keep you all updated here on our new blog as well as our website: Thank you to everyone for your continuous support!
