Education Expo’s Virtual Back to School Supply Fundraiser

We are back!

That’s right! Education Expo is back again with another back to school supply drive!

For the month of August 2025, we are hosting a supply drive but in a different way compared to in the past. This year’s supply drive is a virtual drive and it is more so a fundraiser instead of a physical drive. We decided to go this route because our intentions are to focus on getting more supplies directly to teachers vs directly to students this year.

Our fundraiser will run from August 6, 2025 until August 31, 2025 and it will be 100% virtual, meaning you do not have to leave work nor your home to participate this year.

Why are we focused on teachers vs students?

We believe that when you supply a teacher with the equipment they need to teach their classes, then the students are overall supplied to flourish.
This takes some of the responsibility of school supplies off the parents ultimately allowing them to place those resources back into the clothing, shoes, and upkeep of their children and even for some the bills in the household that are a need as well for each school year.
This route is an easier distribution method overall because we know teachers will bring the supplies directly to their classrooms vs us trying to persuade parents to come out and pick up supplies. Some students weren’t able to come to physical drives in the past and missed out on the opportunity to have the supplies they needed to begin the school year.
This route eliminates criticism of teachers onto parents. When the teachers are supplied upfront for their classroom, they have no excuse to complain about parents not providing school supplies for their children for the school year. Teachers would already have the supplies directly being given to supply their classrooms.
This route eliminates the potential of parents purchasing supplies that are not needed.
This method eliminates parents being forced to fund entire classrooms vs just their child with extensive school supply lists that are often required, especially during elementary school years.
This route cuts costs for teachers that are having to come out of pocket for classroom supplies annually.
