#31DaysSheHeals – Day 13

Day 13: Write a letter to your younger self. What advice would you give her?
A13: I did this for a previous blog contribution for Shavahn at The Girlfriend Lounge for her blog series, Dear Old Me Letters earlier this year. Check it out below and click the link above to check out her blog site. She has some really great reading material, motivators, and just overall great content to share and interact yourself with.

Dear Younger KD,
Your time will come, you don’t need to rush anything. You don’t need to prepare for anything. You don’t need to worry about anything. When it is your time, it will be fully your time. You may see other women flourishing in lasting and loving relationships, and you may even wish it was you that was apart of that or even had that for yourself. But don’t trip. Even though things may look good on the outside, they may be rotten on the inside, so just watch and be careful about what you wish for. Wishing for something that someone else has may not be beneficial for you as a person. It may even be too much for you to handle at that very moment, so just wait. Wait for him. Wait for him to notice you. Wait for him to come to you and fully give you everything you need. When it is true and real, and truly and really comes to you, you won’t have to question it. You won’t wonder well, “does he like me, or is he just here to play me?. Everything will be natural. You won’t have to force anything, he will make it happen with no problems nor excuses about anything. Don’t rush life. Or life will rush you. Sometimes God will give you exactly what you want and wished for, just to show you that it is in fact not what you need at the moment. Don’t trip. Don’t slip. Your time will come.
Sincerely,
Keara D.
