Affirmation Sunday while Blogging with DE

If you’re new here, DE is an arts brands and service in which we are about all things pertaining to creativity, marketing, and design along with other topics that we focus on as discussion points for our blog and website. For this post, we are diving into our weekly #AffirmationSunday topic which comes from our blogging and promotional group Blogging with DE on our Facebook social media platform.

Today’s Sunday Affirmation: I will perform good works.

I spent some time reflecting on my past recently when it came to my business and service and I must say that I have accomplished way more than I give myself credit for. Every year, during the beginning of each new year, I always look and see what new goals I can add on to my growing list of asprirations instead of making a goal to complete previous goals and aspirations in which this year that changed for me. I amd finding myself cutting ties with a lot of things that no longer serve me. I find myself getting rid of a lot of material things that I’m either not using, or just aren’t helping to serve my greater good. I’ve even found myself ending projects that I’ve been working on for years that are no longer apart of the path that I wish to travel in life….and to me both personaly and professinally I feel like that is ok.

It’s ok to cut things and end things in order to better yourself or so you can focus on bigger things that fit your lifestyle and life goals. This is not a symbol of the end. This is a transition into the beginning of growth. It’s important to make sure that what you’re doing and pursuing will help you to peform well and do better in life. If you’re like me, you start a lot of projects from great ideas spontaneously and that often leads to incompletions here and there. Don’t get me wrong most of the time I often come back to those projects and complete them but a lot of times they just build up dust in the corner of my work space. This year I want to perform good works in all aspects of my life without the hassle of imcompletions and that’s just what I’m going to do!
