Biggie Acrylic Painting

Today we are switching gears a little bit for our DE Painting posts.
Normally we highlight brand new paintings that have been recently created but today lets take some time out to highlight a past painting created by Delux Designs (DE), LLC founder & head designer @K_DougDE titled Biggie.

Biggie was created during the year of 2017, a year where I was just getting comfortable with showing off my paintings for the world to see. I used my favorite paint Anita’s Acrylic Paint from Hobby Lobby on a 9×12 inch Canvas Panel from our affiliate partner Michaels Arts and Crafts Store. I am personally a huge fan of Christopher Wallace, also known as Biggie or The Notorious B.I.G, music and have been since I was a child. To create this piece I used two different reference images of the legendary rapper and placed them into one setting.

The original Biggie painting has since been placed in a new home in Spartanburg, South Carolina with fellow business owner and entrepreneur Shemuel Nameste of Display Marketing, also known as Age Old.
