Now that you’ve caught up on our last post, we are here today to give more information on The National Voter’s Registration Day organization and what they represent:
The National Voter’s Registration Day is collaborative effort that involves partners from all sizes and stripes from across the country. National Voter’s Registration Day is an actual nonpartisan civic holiday that is celebrated annually on the fourth Tuesday of every September of every year. It first began back during the year of 2012 with a mission of non-profit organizations, businesses, schools, libraries, election officials, and more to register potential voters for upcoming November elections. The National Voter’s Registration Day is supported by the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS), the National Association of State Election Directors (NASED), the National Association of Election Officials, and the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC).
Why We Celebrate The National Voter’s Registration Day

The National Voter’s Registration Day is celebrated to bridge the gap that prevents eligible citizens from voting and casting ballots in elections which may include moving to a new address, turning 18 years old, or changing names. To address this major gap, The National Voter’s Registration Day intends to meet eligible voters where they are which is where The DE Foundation comes into play. We want to make things easier for those who need to update registration or register for the first time by providing information on how to do so through our blog and website so you can take care of these important matters before election time right from the comfort of your home.
