Affirmation Sunday while Blogging with DE

For this post, we are diving into our weekly #AffirmationSunday topic which comes from our blogging and promotional group Blogging with DE on our Facebook social media platform.

“It is your time to shine.” – @K_DougDE

Today’s post is centered around Ecclesiastes 3:1 KJV that states “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” Right now is the season where you need to be declaring that it is your time. You may have a past of saying that things will happen in due time or something of that magnitude, but it is time for you to recognize that the due time you were referring to in the past is here. This is your season. You may have went through season after season of disappointment and heartbreak but those bad seasons were just setting you up for better seasons to come which are here right now.

We often put off our accomplishments and push off those goals we want to achieve as being something of the future. Something that we are not ready for yet. Often talking ourselves out of our great blessings to come by pushing them off for later. This is great in some instances because in reality sometimes we aren’t ready and that is ok. It’s ok to go through time periods of learning and growth, we all have to go through what I refer to as growing seasons. These growing seasons can trick us into believing that our time is not coming until later, which can lead us to believing that maybe we have missed our chance of greatness and happiness. But in reference of Ecclesiastes 3:14 KJV, “I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him”, I truly believe that whatever God has for us is for us. Nobody can take that away if it’s truly for you. Nobody can deter you from what’s yours because it is yours. Even if it take some time to get to you through multiple growing seasons, what is for you is for you and only you.

You have what it takes. You have all the resources you need. You have enough equipment and supplies. You have the knowledge it takes to withstand any storm that may come your way during this journey. But you need to declare and have confidence that the time you were referring to in the past is now here. It is your time to shine.
