If you are new here, this is the motherhood and parenting blog segment of Delux Designs (DE), LLC where we talk and discuss all different topics related to parenting and family life. Today’s topic is centered around one of our newest affiliate partner’s Wayfair! That’s right, we announced last week that we are now in partnership with this very popular furniture and home brand and intend to create some posts centered around this brand so here we are today doing just that.

Adjustable Steel Drying Rack

This was one of the first items I purchased from Wayfair that I really love. I am not a fan of those big bulky drying racks that you sit on the counter. From my experience the bulkier drying racks for dishes and other cooking utensils tend to allow water to just sit in them. Then that water turns into water spots on the rack depending on what color the rack is, especially if it’s black and it just looks gross to me. Or worse, the sitting water has the potential to turn into mildew or mold. So I decided to find something that did not require that I use one of the bulky rack and instead could be placed inside the sink directly so the excessive water drips in the sink, which led me to coming across this Adjustable Steel Drying Rack. My new rack helps to keep the countertops clear as you can store it for later use in a cabinet or even a drawer. You do not have to worry about water sitting directly under the rack on the counter top like the traditional ones because everything is in the sink. From my usage so far I have found that my dishes dry faster as well. After just 30 minutes or so each dish was dry and I was able to put them away for future use.

LG Single Unit Front Load WashTower

This was the second item I purchased from Wayfair during my latest move into our new home and I’m obsessed! I absolutely love this new LG Single Unit Front Load WashTower. At first I was going to go the route of purchasing a washer and a seperate dryer and then just stack them on top of each other but the space in which I needed them to fit in would not work for that type of set up I have currently. Each one I wanted were all too wide or ended up being very difficult to stack in such a narrow space. So I found the LG Single Unit Front Load WashTower and fell in love with it. So far I have just used it for basic washing and drying loads, but this is a Smart Appliance so there are some capabilities that I have not unlocked yet in which I can use my phone to control. I thought I would have to do really small loads but overall I have not had an issue with load sizes. Everything fits perfectly, including my bed comforters and blankets, the more bulky items. Another great feature are the lights that are included inside the washer and dryer drum itself. At night this has come in so handy. I don’t have to add a light to my wash closet or outside of it because the WashTower itself has a light. I love it.

Levoit Air Purifier

I had already purchased multiple Levoit Air Purifiers before I moved but they all have come in handy since moving. There was a smell in our home that I needed to address immediately upon moving in and once this issue was resolved I added in my purifiers into each room and now that smell is now fully gone. The air inside our home is cleaner and more clear for us to breath. It’s not stuffy or heavy. These are also great if you have children, and/or pets in your home. We often focus on cleaning the basics of our homes like tabletops, tables, etc. and often forget about cleaning the air itself which could also be dirty. The Levoit Air Purifier is the exact tool you need to make sure your air is clean as well. These also pair well as white noise machines at night as well for your little ones as well.
