Hey everyone! I am here for #DEArtMom’s very first product review for Delux Designs (DE), LLC newest blogging segment for parenting and motherhood.

Our first product review is centered around Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Daily Skin Therapy. I have been using this particular butter for my skin my entire pregnancy and it has yet to fail me. In the beginning of my pregnancy I worried a lot about skin dryness and stretch marks. Beforehand I was already suffering from dry skin including my hair scalp as well and I already knew with being pregnant that moisture would dry up even more so I wanted to jump on that issue before it became an issue for me. The stretch mark worry came from me not wanting my skin to permanently have stretching scars once my pregnancy was over and I begin to lose my baby weight. Again, wanting to overcome an issue before it becomes an issue.
So far, I am in the third trimester and my skin has been fully moisturized the entire time and my strech marks have only come up at a minimum 4 weeks before delivery time. My entire pregnancy I did not have to deal with any stretch marks at all which was the goal overall. I use this butter all over from head to toe so even my feet and heels haven’t dried out and my face is pretty much evenly moisturized daily.

If you’re pregnant right now, I would highly recommend that you use this butter to prevent any stretch marks you may have, or to simply have moisturized skin overall throughout the growth process of your newborn. I often purchase mine from our affiliate partner Target at a great price but it is available at many other local retail stores like Rite Aid and Amazon. The smell is wonderful and one jar lasts me about 4-5 months at a time. I use quite a lot monthly, however, because I like to make sure that my skin is covered. Plus I was using more during the winter season because the air was dry. I recommend using this butter straight out of the shower for the best use of it. After the shower or a nice bath, your skin is already moist from the steam of the water and body heat, so adding the butter to your skin locks in even more moisture. The more you continue to make this a routine of applying it straight out of the shower or a bath, the less butter you’ll have to use over time and the more your skin will naturally be moisturized daily.
