Peeps Pancake Skillet Set Product Review from #DEArtMom

Hello and welcome to #DEArtMom, the motherhood & parenting blogging segment of Delux Designs (DE), LLC! For today’s post, we will be discussing and reviewing my new Peeps Panceake Skillet Set from our affiliate partner Target.

I purchased this skillet set a while ago while doing a self care shopping trip to Target. At the time it was on sale and only a very limited amount were left to purchase so I decided to go ahead and purchase it and save it for this year’s upcoming Easter Sunday holiday.

Inside of the skillet set included the skillet itself and a pre-mixed pancake mix package, but I decided to mix up my own banana pancake mix for me and my daughter to use instead. The skillet itself was very lightweight and easy to use. Nothing truly complicated about it, I just removed it from it’s packaging, washed it down, sprayed it down with cooking spray so my pancake’s would slide out of it easily when flipping, and just began cooking with it like I would a normal skillet.

One additional thing I had to do, however, which was something I was questioning when I purchased it, was to make sure I had a seperate pan already hot and ready to use right along with the Peeps skillet. This extra round skillet was used to flip the pancakes. Each one cooked fairly fast for me on one side, and then I flipped each one over on the opposide side in the extra pan to continue cooking all the way through. Each pancake cooked for no more than 3-5 minutes at around low to medium heat in temperature.

We loved how the pancakes came out once cooked. They were shaped like bunnies as shown in the photo above. Very fun for this year’s Easter season!
