Christmas light displays have always been a favorite part of the holiday season for me.
My parents would take me from time to time to see light displays and decorations around Christmas in neighborhoods apart of my hometown and home state when I was younger and that’s where my fascination came from with them. To me, being able to strategically put up Christmas lights and displays is an art to me. Everyone can’t do it, but when it’s done right Christmas lights are a beautiful sight to see during the winter season each year.

Glendale Glitters

One great Christmas light show is the Glendale Glitters annual event. Here you can find a great light show and multiple displays along with some family fun and great food in Glendale, Arizona. Check out more information on this year’s event coming up next month here.

Christmas Town USA

Christmas Town USA is scheduled for December 01 through December 26, 2021 from 5:30pm until 10pm each night including weekends. It is an annual light show that has been going on since my childhood in McAdenville, North Carolina. This show is so cool you can either walk or drive through to enjoy the decorations and displays with family and friends. Check out more information on this year’s light show here.

Festival of Lights

Here is another drive through option, the James Island Festival of Lights annual light show in Charleston of South Carolina. You don’t need to leave your vehicle for the show, but you do need tickets to attend this one. Check out more information here on how you can get signed up for this year’s show starting November 12, 2021 from 5:30pm until 10pm EST and ending December 31, 2021.

Lights Before Christmas

Seeing the Christmas light displays and decorations at Riverbanks Zoo and Garden is a holiday tradition for South Carolina residents in the Columbia and surrounding area. The annual event, Lights Before Christmas begins November 20, 2021 from 5pm until 9pm EST this year. This is another that requires tickets beforehand so check out more information on obtaining yours here.

Christmas at Biltmore

Christmas at Biltmore is one that I have personally attended on more than one occasion. There’s is a bit different compared to the others that were previous mentioned in which you would be walking and touring the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. Each room of the estate is really decked out with unique Christmas decorations, my favorites were the Christmas trees of each room. Check out what decorations the estate is going with this year starting November 05, 2021 and ending January 08, 2022. Speedway Christmas

Check out this great drive through option of viewing a massive Christmas light show and display at the annual Speedway Christmas event at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina. More information can be found here and the show begins Friday, November 19, 2021 and ends Sunday, January 02, 2022.
