Being natural during the summer season is probably one of the best seasons to be natural, other than fall in my opinion. During those two particular times of the year, there are so many styles you can do and achieve that allow you to limit your heat usage overall. More than anything, I love the styling options you get with wash and go’s along with the help of the summer heat from the sun. Check out some of my favorite leave in conditioners I use during this time of the year for not only my wash and go’s but other great summer styles as well below:
Some of the leave in conditioners shown above are used during specific times of the year. For example, Cantu Shea Butter is used a majority of the time during the summer months because it is thicker. I tried it for some time during the colder months of the year and it did not work out well for me. I was always on the go so I never really had time for my hair to dry. The Cantu leave in treatment made it a little harder for my hair to dry because it was so thick, plus the colder months do not yield any type of natural heat so my hair ended up being wet a majority of the time anywhere I went. Styles would not come out right unless it was dried completely before going outside. The Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Leave In Conditioner is one that I use year round. It is one of my most favorite products from Shea Moisture, one that I know is going to work great every time, well at least since I have been using it so far. Check which oils I pair with my favorite leave in conditioners at the link below. Thanks for reading everyone, happy blogging!
