The Purple Crown Project

The Purple Gold Project

The Purple Crown Project is a project from The DE Foundation that focuses on domestic violence awareness. We provide awareness tips, stories and information on the effects of domestic violence against women at the hands of men in our society today. This is the newest campaign for The DE Foundation non-profit that we intend to push more virtually, while also bringing some awareness events to a city near you very soon.

What is Domestic Violence?

Domestic Violence is an act of violence or abuse against a person living in one’s household, especially a member of one’s immediate family according to Dictionary.com. But this form of abuse does not stop at just a person living amongst another, nor does it stop at people of your immediate family. Domestic violence can happen to anyone no matter what race or gender you are but here at The Purple Crown Project, we focus on the women whom have been affected by this form of violence.

The Purple Crown Project is now apart of Instagram and Pinterest. We also have our very own Facebook page as well for the public to take part in and engagement with one another.
