9 Days of Positive Affirmations with Minimal Capsule – Day 4

Day 4

Day four of the 9 days of positive affirmations is about decluttering your space.

Decluttering your space of course means to clean up. We all have had those time periods where we have more than necessary. This applies to materialistic items, personal connections to others, and even old memories and thoughts.

  • One way I always declutter my space from materialistic items is by simply cleaning. Any old clothes I’m no longer wearing get shipped out and donated pretty much every season. We all know new fashion trends come up every season so my old looks get traded out for new ones.   • A way I declutter from old personal connections is by starting with cleaning out my phone. I start with contacts. Any contacts that I have that aren’t immediate family, friends, colleagues or business connections, I delete them especially if I haven’t heard from them or they haven’t heard from me in more than a year. Another way I declutter here is by deleting old pictures as well. I am that typical female that has thousands of pictures and photographs in her phone so this declutter method happens regularly. Any old memes, promotion images and even selfies that didn’t make the cut to be posted online get deleted from my cellular device to make room for new image and to free up space for new apps and files to be saved.
  • Old memories and thoughts that no longer hold a positive place in my life are removed through activities like what we covered yesterday for cultivating positivity.
